About Me

I am a wife to my loving and supportive husband and a mother to my three awesome children. A predominantly plant-based pescatarian with a passion for fitness and tennis, I’ve cultivated a lifelong commitment to wellness. My interest in nutrition began after working with integrative health practitioners in an effort to reduce my risk. Living with BRCA2 has led me down many research rabbit holes, and I remain curious in learning how living holistically can affect cancer risk. I’m committed to nourishing my family’s bodies and modeling a healthy lifestyle, knowing there’s a 50% chance I’ve passed down this mutation to my children. My goal is to empower them to manage their risk, if necessary, and embrace wellness in every aspect of life.

Living intentionally and healthily means staying informed. As new research emerges, this health journey will continue to evolve, and my plan for this site is to share any relevant information that can help us all dodge the Big C.
